When you decide to euthanize your dog our veterinarians will ask you about cremation. There are 2 options when it comes to cremation, general and private cremation. A general cremation means you do not get your dog’s ashes back. Your dog is cremated with other animals and their ashes are spread on the property of the Red Deer Pet Cremation Services. A private cremation means you get your dog’s ashes back in a sealed urn of your choice or a scatter box. Once the ashes have returned from the crematorium we will call you to let you know that they are ready for pick up at Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital.
