Regular grooming and nail trims are crucial for maintaining your cat's health.
At Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital we provide lion shaves while sedated, brushing, and nail trims. Some cats do not like to go to the groomer which is why we provide sedation while shaving in our hospital. Sedation is safe and short-term; your cat can get groomed and be back home in a couple hours. Nail trims can be done without sedation and we recommend trimming your cat’s nails approximately every 4 weeks. Contact Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital for information on grooming your cat.
At Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital we do not have grooming packages. We only perform lion shave grooming if sedation is required. Contact your local groomer to get your cat groomed without sedation. Please contact Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital if you have any questions about getting your cat groomed.
At Lomsnes Veterinary Hospital, we have flexible appointment dates and times. When your cat comes in for grooming they will stay with us for a couple hours. When your cat is groomed and has recovered from the sedation they can be picked up and taken home. Nail trims for your cat are a five-minute procedure and we can work it around most schedules. If you need to cancel or reschedule your cat’s grooming appointment we are very accommodating.
