Mel Tamburrini

For as long as I can remember, I have had a deep love and to connection animals. I believe all animals are sentient beings and that they should be treated with kindness and respect. I started at Lomsnes in June 2022 and my favourite part of the job is being surrounded people who share that same love for animals as I do.

I have two dogs, Ruby and Maple, a cat named Wednesday and a corn snake named Saffron. Ferrets are one of my favourite animals and I used to have three of them named Bud, Bridgette and Baba. I absolutely love birds! Ducks, Turkeys, Crows, Ravens- I love them all! 

I aspire to help as many animals as possible and make the world a better, more compassionate place for them. 

Fun fact about me:  It has been a life-long goal of mine to befriend a crow and I have been slowly working with the crows around my house by giving them lots of peanuts!
