Dr. Lisa Lomsnes

I graduated from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. My favourite thing about the clinic is the professional level of care from all the team members and the ability to treat every patient as if it is our own.

My loving pets are a Golden Retriever named Rizz and Sparky, a stray cat. I am fortunate enough to become a grandmother to a grand cat! My daughter adopted Xena from the Central Alberta Humane Society.

What I love most about my job is that it’s humbling to be part of so many families and provide for their loving pet. From bearded dragons to hamsters, to cats and dogs, the joy of seeing the love and care clients have for their animals is why I love my job.

My husband Del is a teacher in the Red Deer School District and we have two children, Tanner and Kaitlyn. Our family is actively involved in the community and we are lucky to call Red Deer our home.
